In the heart of Bălți, the TECH Incubator program is quietly shaping the future of local IT talent. This comprehensive training initiative, designed to equip participants with essential skills, is more than just a classroom experience—it's a launchpad for real-world opportunities.
For months, participants have followed a rigorous schedule, diving into courses on soft skills, hard skills, and career orientation. These classes go beyond the technical, fostering communication, teamwork, and adaptability while preparing participants to navigate the complexities of the IT industry.
This September, ten participants of the TECH Incubator were given the chance to put their learning into action. After performing exceptionally in their coursework, completing assignments, and showing consistent engagement, they were handpicked by mentors from PowerIT, a local IT company in Bălți, in collaboration with the program’s local coordinator.
Starting September 1st, these talented individuals began their internships at PowerIT—a milestone in their budding careers. Over three months, they will not only refine their skills but also tackle real-world projects under the close guidance of experienced mentors. These mentors, who have been instrumental throughout the selection process, are now helping the interns bridge the gap between theory and practice, turning classroom lessons into tangible expertise.
The first weeks have been about learning and adaptation. Each intern is diving into the projects with enthusiasm, gaining hands-on experience that builds confidence and competence. As the program unfolds, they’ll continue to grow, supported by a team dedicated to their success.
The "TECH Incubator Bălți 2024" initiative is part of the project "Supporting the Market Environment in Moldova: Digital Innovation, Labor Market, and Investments – Phase 1," which runs from October 2023 to April 2025. It is implemented by iHUB Chișinău, with support from the Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation (SAIDC) and in partnership with EMA – Development and Mobility Agency.
